Well, you could take her aside and tell her it's really not her fault, since parenthood has been a hereditary condition in your family until now.

It sometimes manifests the most unpleasant consequences.

Trick or Treating with the kids tonight. So I should make out like a bandit! :D I've still got to carve the pumpkins, probably when I get out of work tonight. I might try to get them scooped out while I'm home for lunch.

Now you guys are going to get jealous! We've got VIP seating and a meet-and-greet with...the anticipation is building, I can tell...the Wiggles! My two youngest ones are huge Wiggles fans. Seeing their faces will make up for everything. The sacrifices we make as parents... :D At least they aren't as insufferable as Barney.

Then on Sunday we've got a work day down at the club. I'm on the dock hauling crew so I'll probably head down early and disconnect all of the finger piers so that I can then sit back and stir things up. I've been so busy over the summer and fall that I haven't seen a lot of the guys since spring. I've got a lot of ball busting to make up for.

I'm sorry Swamp but I'd be looking to kill myself shortly after sitting down for a Wiggles concert...

10:00 isn't too early to self-medicate is it? :) I've been vaccinated (in small doses) so I'm hoping my tolerance is up.

Carleton, you have such a way with words. That's great.

Both my kids are sick.:( Achy, snotty, whiney and clingy. At least they don't have a cough or ear aches.

I hope I can avoid getting it myself. My wife's already showing signs of it taking her down.

Have a great weekend everyone!:)

Good luck with that, Chad! I'm generally very resistant to most stuff that goes around but kids seem to get superbugs that take down even the stongest of us.

I dread late fall/winter because #3, thanks to smaller sinus passages and an immune system not up to par with his siblings, always ends up with a sinus or ear infection any time he gets sick. As much as I hate doing it we have him on a preventative program with low dose antibiotics otherwise he'd never be in school. But every now and then the viral stuff pops up and there's not much you can do about that.

Stay strong, drink lots of OJ and try to stay out of the house as much as possible. Yeah, I thought that last part was funny, too. :D

Looking forward to Trick or Treating with the neighborhood kids this evening. Looks like its gonna be a fabulous fright night. The Mean Queen outfit is kinda fun.

Farting around this weekend....

I am thinking about fixing the curb rash on my wheels, but at this point I am more lazy than anything else... Had two midterms this week, and need some tome to rest.

Hiding from trick-or-treaters tonite. Didn't bother buying candy, so the family is going to be out of the house!

Manicured the lawn yesterday, and don't feel like having kids treading on it! (wow, I sound like an old fart!) :wheelchair:

Daughter got braces yesterday...perfect timing for her! All she can do is roam the neighborhood with her friends, but not partake in the treats that await them afterwards!

I''m heading South to NC this afternoon. It'll be nice to get away from here for awhile.

The trees are beautiful this morning. I'm alive and well. Wooohooo!
