Hopefully, this is the weekend I will finally finish building that furniture I keep talking about. That'l also be my good deed for the day. At least my daughter will think so.

Keeping fingers crossed.

The dreaded bi-annual California Smog Test for the 1991 560SEC.

Reminder to self: Drive car at least 20-30 minutes so it's fully warmed up, before taking it into the test-only smog test center.

That's never an enjoyable event, even though the car has never yet failed the test.

How'd it go, Jim?

Well, furniture is finished. This weekend I will don my spikes and climbing belt and ascend into the forest in my backyard to cut down some of the tall pines that are leaning toward my neighbor's house. Then, he and I will both feel better about the approaching winter.

This thing car never ceases to amaze me

118 000 miles, Skated through on the smog test. At idle (669 rpm) and high idle (2345 rpm) waaaay under the maximum CO and HC. Good for another 2 years, yippee! Must be all that clean Chevron Premium with Techron.
It's really a clean running car.:2thumbsup :beerchug: Now only $76 for the 2007 sticker. Thanks, Ahnold.

I have a crew in the backyard clearing/trimming trees up in the hillside.

It is hard work...I am glad I went to law school. I couldn';t earn a living that way.

Later this evening my youngest daughter is coming home for the weekend, she is bringing her roomate, a real nice girl from Virginia.

Sunday morning a crew from the Film School is coming to our home to do some interior shots.

Man, I love being surrounded by college kids...keeps me young!

Sam es esposio de Violeta. My dad was esposo number 2. I agree with you on hanging out with kids...does keep you young then I look at my ankles and count the rings around them.

This weekend I am decompressing the pressure in my head...like the San Andreas fault.....two tectonic plates rubbing together...

I was bad today--did have appts. all morning, but went to lunch with a collegue and got into a p'ing match about golf and ended up ditching the afternoon and playing golf early so I could still pick up the girls at 5:D

Was able to have breakfast with an old friend this AM... our first visit in 3+years. A very nice start, followed by a racus and mind numbing day of too many deliveries going in 'the wrong direction at the wrong time'. (Double Whammy)
Tomorrow AM I return to the ditch after a cup of 'joe'. (strong)

Provided it isn't absolutely pouring rain, we're planning to sort out heifers for weaning. moo.

I am still working on my patio. I hope to finish getting the large pieces cut and installed this weekend. It is already starting to get cold here and I can't work on it once the ground freezes.
