Looking forward to seeing a bunch of you at Chad's tomorrow. The SE PA Annual GTG has become one of the "can't miss events of the year. See you all there!

Congrats on the loss of 20#s! I've lost just over 50#s since May, simply by "dropping the Dew" and going only with H2O. All that sugar isn't hanging on my waist/arse and I'm not "jagging" on the caffeine-overages anymore. Feels good, doesn't it?!?

Well done!! 50lbs is a ton to lose, especially in just a few months! Definitely feels great, though I'm really into weightlifting so its always a compromise between lifting heavy vs. piling on weight. Just trying to burn the excess fat now...

Keep it up! And don't forget to take before and after pics for whenever you feel like going back to soda and eating junk food

What's everybody doing this weekend? Looks like I'm back to puttering around my house. There's no lack of projects needing to be finished, but perhaps a slight motivational deficit . . . Guess that's what I'll be doing this weekend.

Welded my first bits of metal tonight - in theory, lawn tractor is good to go. Tomorrow we see how well it holds :P

Muziks in Bal'more tonight, band of long time friend of Darling Wife in a cafe. Weekend details TBD.

A Bud Light while watching A Bug's Life on the couch with my 6yo. Chilling out while mentally preparing for tomorrow. My wife invited "our" school circle friends over for an end of summer party (kids start school this coming Thu). 15 kids (6-14yo) tearing around the yard and making a mess of the pool. I'm hoping at least a few of the dads will join me in the garage so I'll have an excuse to hide there. :)

Kids in the pool? Double up on the chlorine after everyone/thing is out of it!

Catchin' up on the confuser-work today...answering some e-mails, sending off a few reports, then getting ready to just kick back and chill-lax a few days...the CFO has given eveyone in the group of stations Monday off due to "Rosh Hashanah" - which, when I "wiktionaried" it, means:

"1.The Jewish holiday marking the start of the liturgical year, taking place on the first two days of Tishrei, 163 days after the first day of Passover."

So...have a safe and great weekend and if you're not working on Monday...Mazal Tov!

Here we go again! :)

Tonight: Cross country meet for son #1, basketball practice for DD followed by dropping them both off at the h.s. football game. Drink some beers, enjoy a cigar (got a couple Acids that a buddy dropped off) while waiting for them to get home from the game and while the two little guys watch a movie.

Tomorrow: Set up tent for our elementary school's PTO and turkey fryers/corn boilers for our Chamber of Commerce for town's Cornfest (harvest festival). Work 8 until noon. Pick son #1 up from CC practice and drop him off at Cornfest for volunteer hours and wander around for an hour before bringing son #3 to soccer practice while the Mrs., working at the aforementioned PTO booth, brings DD to basketball game. More beer, another cigar.

Sunday: Get up a 6 to go check out a critter-damaged pop up camper in northeastern CT to see if it's worth the asking price of FREE! I really don't want to get into any extensive repair/restoration so unless it's an easy clean and fix, I'm not interested.

I recently acquired a '66 Cox Cadet trailer, also FREE! Unfortunately, instead of looking like this
http://lh4.ggpht.com/-LDkKhGy6_lQ/TH...0/DSCF0258.JPG

picture everything contained within this box (canvas, wood, foam)
https://encrypted-tbn2.google.com/im...W5cOHYqxUUWC8y
as a rotten, water-soaked mess. This will be my long-term restoration project. Strip down to the frame and rebuild up. The canvass is still available! The real shame is that this Cadet was bought new, used once in the past 40 years! and parked since the wife didn't enjoy roughing it. So the other pop-up has to be near-usable for me to consider it.

^ Good luck! Might be an awesome find.

I don't know what I'm doing this weekend. There's a tailgate and football game at my alma mater so I'll probably do that. Also Swamp how you feel about Jim C retiring?

First week of training new sales reps is over. Weather looks like it will be terrific this weekend. Woohoo! Maybe I'll get Mistress' new table finished this weekend.

Pistol Annie's at The Great Frederick Fair on Saturday with Darling Wife and friends. Oughtta be good for a giggle or three.

Hell on Heels

I'm hell on heels
Say what you will
I've done made the devil a deal
He made me pretty
He made me smart
And I'm going to break me a million hearts
I'm hell on heels, baby I'm comin' for you

This diamond ring on my hand
Is the only good thing that came from that man
Got a GTO from one named Joe
And a big piece of land down in Mexico
I'm hell on heels, baby I'm comin' for you

I got a pink guitar, a Lincoln Town Car
From ol' what's his name I met at a bar
Got a high-rise flat in Hollywood
From a married man who wasn't up to no good
I'm hell on heels, baby I'm comin' for you

Then there's Jim
I almost forgot I ran him off
But I took the yacht
Poor ol' Billy
Bless his heart
I'm still using his credit card
I'm hell on heels
Sugar daddy, I'm coming for you
