Time for an update folks. RLeo any new pics of the "kids?"
|
I packed my three Min Pin's and a foster Pin in the back of my and drove 800 miles from Atlanta, GA to Dallas TX. Made it in 11 hours. Very little problems.
Here are my three taking a break to sip on a cool beverage http://www.w108.org/gallery/albums/R...1251.sized.jpg |
ala- what are their names?

This is Tommy Boy (Aka Monkey, because he really is a cheeky monkey)
I picked him up in Austin TX . My first dog. http://alabbasi.net/tommy.jpg This is Abby Monkey. Rescued her from a kill shelter when I volunteered for a breed rescue. She was past her sell by date and was due to be put down to make space for the next incoming dog. I guess no one wanted her because she looked a little older. She acts a hell of a lot younger then she looks. I suspect that she just partied too hard in her youth. Her previous owner was probably Keith Richards. http://www.houseofdedon.com/gallery/...0647.sized.jpg Henry was another failed foster. Also due to be put down because of health issues and the fact that he bit someone. He was grossly underweight and suffered major skin problems. http://www.houseofdedon.com/gallery/...1651.sized.jpg Lastly there is Alex. He was an abused dog that was adopted by the rescue organisation that I volunteer for about a year ago. Turns out that the people who adopted him were also abusive and we got him back a year later. He's a very happy go lucky dog. We're trying to find him a good home. http://www.houseofdedon.com/gallery/...1224.sized.jpg |

Nothing new in terms of chowlet pics. Can't remember...have you seen these two yet? #84 and #86 are pretty daggone spoiled...5 lbs of 20% range cubes 2X/day and and all the hay they can eat. http://berryhillfarm.us/Farm/84and86LR.jpg http://berryhillfarm.us/Farm/86and84_LR.jpg These pics were taken in early December. They look to me like they've gained 100lbs since then but, considering that they were on hunger strike for about 10 days after arriving at the farm, they probably are only about 600something lbs now. Here's our rescue dog — Grizzly: http://berryhillfarm.us/Farm/Grizzbone3LR.jpg He's jumpy, has alpha-dog issues, pees on his feet, has been operated on for dysplasia and is certifiably crazy. Of course, he's part of the pack so we love him anyway. |

She is kinda weasely (if thats a word). Plus, its one of my daughter and mines favorite songs by Phish. Phish - Fee Lyrics In the cool shade of the banana tree On the rugged trail toward the balcony A child of the twentieth century A dried up Goliath and a weasel named Fee Far away in another place A fading beauty named Milly Grace A gospel singer with pox on her face And a bamboo cane to help her keep the pace Fee was a Buddhist prodigy Long past the age of maturity Someday he knew it would set him free Like it did for Floyd the chimpanzee Oh, Fee, you're trying to live a life That's completely free. You're racing with the wind You're flirting with death So have a cup of coffee And catch your breath Fee first met Milly in a bar in Peru His heart was jumping like a kangaroo Like a beast in a cage in an old Dutch zoo It was hopping and jumping in wooden shoes But Floyd was jealous and alone He wanted Milly for his own A desperate craving in his bones "Their love", he said, "I will not condone." Then one day on a ship to Quebec Floyd found Fee and Milly on a lover's trek He picked up a bottle and broke off the neck It sliced through the air, and Fee hit the deck Oh, Fee, you're trying to live a life That's completely free You want to stay with Milly Until you're dead But you just got a bottle Upside the head Milly turned and began to scream at Floyd said "You think you're pretty mean" And though she was as thin as a small string bean She slammed him in the face with a nectarine Floyd fell back over the edge of the ship Till he hung from the rail by his fingertip said, "Floyd I'll make you lose your grip With this tiny piece of paper I can make you slip" So Milly took that paper and did the deed Floyd hit the water with astonishing speed And as the sharks circled and began to feed Milly knew her weasel was finally free Oh, Fee, you're trying to live a life That's completely free Floyd is dead; he's nothing but a ripple Cause Milly took that paper And sliced him on the nipple |
