Maybe easy access to guns. He would have had a hard time doing that with a knife. Whackjob + easy access to guns = events like this. It is like nukes but most every US citizen can have one. I feel more secure already.

So much for the lifestyle of the Amish somehow exempting them from the craziness of our times. I am surprised, as I would have assumed that the religious and sociological factors in the Amish community would have precluded something as extreme as this.

People are going "ape $hit" for no reason. Oh well, I'm not going to say anything bad about the shooter since I didn't know him. For all we know he was abused as a child and was not a normal human being.

I think all these people are also doing it to get on TV. I don't know if you guys read the statistics but there are more suicides in America than murders!!! Heck, if I was going to kill myself I would want to be famous at the same time. I guess that's the thinking behind these guys' motives.

This crap has got to stop. The powers that be need to own up to the fact that our kids are not safe in schools any more and take some serious security measures. Walmart has more security than our schools do.:mad:

I don't think I'm strong enough for something like this to happen to my child. It would break me.

This is an Amish schoolhouse. Of all the senseless acts of violence, this one totally eludes me.

Whats going on? No shootings for quite awhile then almost one a week? Is there something in the water? These kids are going nuts, time for security in the schools.

..except this kid was 32 years old. And being a milk truck driver, it seems he and other service people like him would have pretty easy access to a school building.

I agree with Hatterasguy,, I think there's something in the water. It seems like in the last four years of my life there has been a lot of crazy SH!+ going on in the US.

I just wish these A$$ holes would just "do" themselves instead of taking the lives of others!!!!!

He shot young girls execution style, how can a person that can commit something like this go unnoticed? People like that have to be well known weirdo's I will never accept the "he just snapped" defense.

Of course there are signs.

One is usually draped around the neck of said future perpetrator..........it reads........"I'm a crazy fuk and I shoot people".

Naturally, the authorities will immediately arrest said person and hold them indefinitely, without any charges being filed, because everyone knows that the sign worn by the crazy fuk is true and he will eventually walk into a school and start shooting people.
