Does anyone have a clue as to how replace/fix etc. the LED readouts on the dash of the 2001 + E320? Having difficulty getting answers.

I'm not and E-anything expert but,
Normally LED's dont burn out - usually the wires that go to the LED go bad/get disconnected somehow - I'd look there first. (do the LED's get pressed in somehow ? did someone just have the cluster out of the car ?) -John

LEDs supposedly last for decades. Low heat. They're really good for hard to service ceiling lights in houses, you know, multiple can lights on high ceilings.

I think you mean LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) pixels. I believe these fail when the form is ruptured or compromised for whatever reason and the liquid actually leaks out. I think the liquid can lose its reactive properties as well. No fix as far as I know.

phew...
I'm so glad someone straightened me out! I knew LED didn't sound right but no one to bounce these things off of..too bad about the no fix.
Will investigate further. Lisa
