Printer Ink Recycling for money - anyone do it ?
Hey guys,
Wife was looking through the church's mailbox the other day (small church, we are both active) and she noticed an ad for a "printer ink cartirdge recycling" fundraiser - they advertised $.50 per cartridge and they supposedly give you a box and pay for shipping from your non-profit to their recycling center(?). This whole thing smacks of scam to me, $.50 seems like a lot when a new ink cartridge (for my HP vivera thing) costs $10. But if its legit, at $.50/pc, this might not be a bad thing to start at our church for funds. Anyone here have any experiences good or bad with this type of thing, I'm pretty suspicious. -John

Staples gives you $3 credit for your cartridge. They refill it somehow. However, I heard that manufacturers are building the cartridges so that after a use or two, they will not work as well.
