Favorite Holiday Food

This the Season with lots of reasons to eat, drink and be pretty merry and make merry so let us know what your favorite holiday foods are and if you have a recipe you'd like to share do so.

1. Mince meat pie- love that stuff.
2. Fruit cake- yep I'm gonna get flammed for this one
3. Sour cream whipped potatoes
4. Yams with marshmellows

I'm with you. I've always liked fruit cake. Yams with marshmellows are also a favorite.

I'd also add cranberry sauce. I absolutely love cranberry sauce.

And pumpkin pie.

Numbers three and four sound good. You can have my servings of fruit cake and mince meat pie, though. I used to deliver those fruit cakes for UPS at Christmas. If you were attacked, you could always use them as weapons.

A nice big, fat, smoked turkey is mighty fine! I have a smoker on my deck. Maybe I'll fire that bad boy up. Smoked Salmon is pretty good, too.

Derby pie (pecan pie with bourbon and chocolate added in to it!) Whoooweeee! That's good rite there, I don't care who you are.
