That's Manuma's car over on FChat. He got a lot of criticism when he posted that video. I'll go check to see if I have a URL somewhere, but he has some other videos on his website that are equally amazing. He has an Enzo too, and after listening to that FXX scream his Enzo sounds really unimpressive.

A few months back I got the chance to check out an FXX in St. Louis owner. SN 145370:

Why did he receive criticism? That car sounded bad azz. You would never be able to drive that car on public roads without alerting every cop car within a 2 mile radius. Awesome, thanks for posting!

Paddle shifters baby.

Dude, is he driving with his wife? In that long straight when he really gets going, he reaches down and hand the passenger his cell. "Tell them I'll call back..."

If can't keep the thing on straight with two hands, what the hell is he doing trying to drive with one hand, at high speed.

Another car that you don't get out of if it rolls onto it's roof.

Good post. Enough to bring back the dead.

That car is sick.

Speaking of F-cars.

I'm house sitting at my parents.

When I walk the dogs and peer up the hill I can see two Ferrari's and a race-prepped 911 in the garage (err.. pool hall, rec room, bar etc). I know one Ferrari is a 512TR and the other looks to be a 456.

I think the real reason was that people were jealous, but some people were mad that he passed the loose cell phone while driving. He also isn't wearing the nomex suit that comes with the car.

Like, I said, mostly jealous people. Awesome video. BTW, if anybody is in the STL area and wants to view the FXX just go to the Bentley/Maserati dealership. They're very good about showing it to people and it's only 1 of 7 in the US.

i am not familiar with the fxx. is it a factory car? a hot version of the enzo?

in this country we have a tendency to put down rich folks.

i once read in a car magazine article that in europe "they know how to treat the wealthy". here we tend to not treat them very special.

Tom the FXX is indeed a 'hot' Enzo, using the same 6.2 V12, but powered up.
I've been looking at one for the last month as it was the February car on my Top Gear wall calender i have in work.

In Europeland they certainly know how to treat the rich - just go back a li'l over 200 years and the frenchies were lopping their heads off
