stupid underwear thread

so i was musing about the bands in the tops of my boxer briefs the other day and got into this discussion with the mrs about wearing undershirts tucked into my underwear.

so how many of you wear your t shirts tucked into your underwear? i mean when you are wearing a button shirt or sweater over them.

It's not like anybody can know if you do...........or you don't.

My family used to live near a collage artist who was slightly odd, and he would cut the band off of the top of his briefs and use it as a headband when he went running. He would also run with an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth as well.

Weird guy, but it was fun watching him run by every day

IF I were to tuck in a T-shirt, I don't think I would tuck it into my underwear intentionally.
It's probably been several years since I've tucked a T.

I do tuck, and here is why.

I'm 6'5'', and even with "tall" t-shirts, the shirt tails on a t-shirt leave something to be desired. So, when I go to work everyday in slacks and a dress shirt, the t-shirt runs the risk of travelling north of the belt, depositing the loose edge inside the tucked-in dress shirt. This I find unattractive (lumps/blousing of dress shirt) and uncomfortable. So, I tuck my undershirt t-shirt into the boxer brief wasteband which 1. keeps the damn thing tucked in, and 2. softens the grip of the boxer brief elastic against my skin.

I similarly will tuck a t shirt into jeans when wearing an un-tucked sweater... but not into the underwear.

Am I the first person to actually respond to this thread?
