Sharp Euro 6.3 on ePray

For that price, the seller should fix the oil leak, not diagnose.

That is one magnificent looking Benz. If I had the money it would be in my collection. The pictures are VERY professional looking and definately make the presentation.

iwrock 05-19-2007 09:37 PM

Damn, that car is sharp....

I would love to add that to the stable...

He knows how to put together an effective eBay ad. Good pics go a long way.

Gawd those are still beautiful cars aren't they. Makes me want to try to find a 4.5 real quick

Look on Dallas Craigslist, there is one for sale there (4.5)

The Swede 05-19-2007 11:49 PM

Be interesting to see if he gets $40K.

suginami 05-19-2007 11:58 PM

Hooooooollllly Mooooooolllllllly!

That is the most beautiful 108 / 109 chassis Mercedes I have ever seen. Not a big fan of the velour interior, but it is magnificent.

davestlouis 05-20-2007 12:11 AM

I too don't care for the velour...non sunroof car too.

Am I seeing things or is the wood too shiny? It looks like hi-gloss boat varnish in the pic's. I'm just nit-picking to make myself feel better about never having a car that clean in my life, and no prospects for ever getting one.

NOTE: In my opinion, the 300SEL 6.3 is one of the most undervalued Mercedes-Benz out there today. It is quickly appreciating, and this particular year is about to have its 40th birthday.
It's an investment, people! That aside, excellent pics.

Matt SD300 05-20-2007 12:23 AM

Diametrical Benz...Will probably cream over this car!....

The car is a cream puff..but I think it is ugly as H..............:wacky:

The Swede 05-20-2007 12:38 AM

Ugly? Wow.

I don't think many (if any?) Euro's had the sunroof option. The velour is trick! How often do you see it? Leather/MB-Tex gets old. :)

Emmerich 05-20-2007 01:02 AM

It looks to be clean but by no means the best 6.3 example out there. Dan Smith in Portland has one that is unreal. Mark Passerreli from Arizona restored one a few years ago and it looked BRAND NEW. He sold it for 50k, but I heard that deal fell through, not sure what happened to the car. Then there is that 125k joke that pops up every so often and gets discussed here....

Emmerich 05-20-2007 01:04 AM

Look at the turn signal stalk in picture 19. It looks funny. Is this some sort of photographic effect? It makes the photos look good but I am wondering how it is done.

Jorn 05-20-2007 01:06 AM

This guy definitely knows how to photograph a car.
