1988 300 SE (w126, m103). 230,000 miles, original engine and tranny (as far as I know, and the PO was very forthcoming about everything he'd had done to her). Odometer works.

Max is now up to 283,264 miles. I just sent in my mileage award application. Woohoo! The sales manager at ASC was very nice to me and quite friendly when I asked him to sign the form.
I often find sales people at places that cater to folks with more money than I have to be rather snooty and overly proud of themselves. Good for you, ASC! |
just got my first mercedes 2 days ago.....1988 190e 2.3 orig everything 305,000 k's

Twins
Both the 87 300E and the 98 C230 have 140k miles, original engine and trans on each. The E will probably outlast the C230, me, maybe even the worlds fuel supply.

Rudolf is now up to 297600 miles! Everything is original. I have the receipts for all the work (water pump, timing chains, etc) Going to take him in for his 250K badge before he hits 315K
Bruno, the 300SD, had 280K before he died. I replaced the engine at 140K with a 69K 300D engine. Non-MB notes: Fritzie is up to 250,000 the engine has never been apart except for timing belts and water pumps I just did the valve cover gasket and the vavle train looked brand new!(Thank God for Mobil 1!) "New" transmission at 180K The Suburban is up to 148 K |
300E at 185K. Headgasket and top-end refresh on original motor at 168K.
Tranny slips, donor tranny awaits swap probably later this year. Other MBs are toddlers as far as mileage is concerned... |
1993 300E 182,000 miles valve job done @ 130,000. Original trans, regular maint.
