I think mine was only 5 days.. school covered pretty much everything, including my gas.. I decided to stay in a cheap motel because the school only covered part of that (and i got the keep the extra $).. I wish I had this car back then..Nashville's PullAPart is awesome... The mall is pretty cool too, I met these girls at the convention and ended up carrying all their bags tho :/

There is a HUGE mall there right next to the hotel. There is a cheap tool store in there. You can drive down to Lynchburg to the Jack Daniels plant. They put on a nice tour that is free. That is about a 2 1/2 hour drive. On the way there is the Saturn plant in Spring Hill. Might get a tour there I'm not sure. Check who is playing at the Ryman. Definitely go if you can. The honky tonks right next to the Ryman on Broadway are fun and free. Across the street from there is the Palm restaurant which is very good. The country music hall of fame is there and if you do that take the studio B tour also.

Exclamation Nashville night life....

Go to the Blue Bird Cafe, 4104 Hillsboro Road just south of Nashville for good music from struggling newcomers to Big Name acts. Small venue so check the schedule at: www.bluebirdcafe.com for the dates you will be in town. Never know when the Stars may come out!! Any cabdriver can get you there.
Lower Broad down by the river is loaded with restaurants, bars and clubs plus the Gaylord Entertainment Center downtown for concerts. Cruise the Cumberland River on the General Jackson....riverboat dinner cruise.

Lots to do in Nashville.....

Never know who might show up unannounced.

Lower Broad has lots of restaurants, bars & clubs.

Gaylord Entertainment Center has major concerts.

Cruise the Cumberland River on the General Jackson...riverboat dinner cruise. Good food, great bar and entertainment!

You will be able to say you visited where Pacman Jones used to play NFL ball.

I think Nik and Tom should hang out together more.

Let's see who changes first.

I don't do honky tonks. Although I really love beer, wine and bourbon, I seldom drink any more 'cause it makes me so sleepy. No sense taking the edge off.....

I was sort of thinking that you could take Nik to Civil War sites and other historic places, and Nik could take you.... no, nevermind. I'm not going there....

Its the Tennessee Version of Austin City Limits. I caught Emmylou Harris and the Nash Ramblers there a few years back and it was incredible. Allison Krause was also on the bill.

They probably wouldn't charge you that much since they wouldn't have to rack in a sleeper cab at the Flying J and there will be a shower in your hotel room.
