anyone know of a college that

In FL offers a degree in Technology Education.. I can't find one... UCF has a degree in technical education but it is not the same thing I am looking at.. I'd really like to stay in FL so I can use my bright futures scholarship.

I have looked at USF,UF,UM,UCF,FSU.. nothing.. I dont know where else to look.

I thought you were going to go for Architecture.

Having trouble making up your mind?

One thing you may want to consider is that my wife has taught at 2 schools in the last 3 years where they closed down the shop, fired the shop teacher and abolished all shop classes.
Summers off are good though.

I did a few days at an Architechture firm and even with my little experience I did ok, I'm just not creative in my own sense.

I have been toying with the idea of tech ed teacher for a while.. It's always been back there...

I don't know anything about technology education, but my guess is that you don't need to have such a specialized degree to get into that field.

What is technology education?

ya know to be more PC

If I can't find a school in FL for it I'll just stick with engineering..

I would think that an engineering degree would qualify you for the job you're interested in, but also leave you with more options in the event that you didn't get to do the teaching job. Besides, engineers make pretty good money. You may not care as much about that right now as you might down the road.

I agree.

A professional degree is good solid stuff.

Teaching is an honorable profession too. And Lord knows we can use some good shop teachers!
