I have seen numerous examples of those. Supposedly made here in Georgia using an F150 Ford as the "base".

The notorious Busta Rhymes used one in one of his videos (Don't ask).

Here's a real MB pickup

"Deep in the Florida everglades, where the men are men and the crocodiles are frightened, a chap named Wild Lyle runs an air boat rental company.

Wild Lyle's stomach is considerably larger than his vocabulary. He spits more than he speaks and he only eats what he runs over. He wears a camouflage jacket and likes guns. Naturally, he drives a pickup truck.

In rural America, everyone drives a pick up truck. Kids from the Montana flatlands to the dusty plains of New Mexico can walk right past a Ferrari but will stop and drool quite openly when the latest flat-bed Ford burbles by.

Pickup trucks do a lot of bouncing. P.J. O'Rourke once described the pick-up as a back porch with an engine, but this is not fair. To back porches.

The average pick-up truck has no suspension and the sort of steering that's only familiar to the masters of very large supertankers. They are also crudely finished, noisy and uneconomical.

Now that's fine for a redneck, because they only ever drive when drunk, and as a result, don't notice....."

From "The Pick-Up Truck Phenomenon" (Clarkson on Cars, Jeremy Carson, 1995)

I like the green one. I would take one with a 616 and a five speed, please.

The green one is slick and even the Benzomino is pretty cool in a "Redneck (or Swamp Yankee) with Money" sort of way.

That does make for one butt fugly F150 though! Do some headlights, some tailights, some rims and and emblem or two realll make it a Benz pickup or do they put a drivetrain in it, too? $85K

Yeah, $85k is a steep for a F150 with some body work.

I had the privilege of seeing the Benzimino at Lode Star show earlier this summer.

Does it look as good in person as it comes across in the pics? It sure looks like that's the way Mercedes would make it if they made one.

Enjoy!

Notice the EFI set up instead of the Mechanical FI on that Mercedes 600.
Very cool
