Someone wants to buy my BMW, just which i could get the SEC with a manual. Needless to say, might just buy a lower milage six. Any ideas as to what to do. I would kep the six, but money talks.

The sec is a fine car. I am a stick lover but I had an 84 500sec for about four years and really enjoyed it. The torquey motor allowed you to just loaf along most of the time and if you kicked it down it would squirt ahead impressively. It used a bit of fuel but it was RUG so it wasn't too bad. Mine was verty trouble free and was imho cheaper to maintain than even the venerable 617 turbo diesels.
I sold it along because the doors were so long to get out of in my parking space at work (90 degree pull in). Tom W

Terms clarifeid?
If you mean, with a manual transmission, the W126ers never came with
one. If you mean with an owner's manual that is different, usually better to find one with an owner's manual and service booklet fully stamped, than not.

Why mess around with a 560 when you could have one of these"
