Anyone been watching "Shark Week"..?

I've been watching "Shark Week" since last week when it started. Lotta good shows. I love "Discovery channel", and "The History Channel" programs, they are so entertaining and informative. Just wondering if anyone else has been watching. I don't watch very much T.V. unless special programs are on.

I haven't watched shark week for two years. It's the same basic stuff on every show.

Growing up around the water, I was always fascinated by marine life in general but sharks specifically. I have fond memories as a kid, a bunch of us sitting on the dock in Block Island catching dogfish and that really spurred my interest.

In fact, I almost majored in Marine Biology with hopes of studying them, but my interest in the family business overruled it. We used to watch every show back in my UConn days. Every 2-3 years they add some new shows, but if you're watching that year before the new additions, it's the same exact shows over and over again.

Yeah, it is the same stuff a lot. Doesn't seem to be too many new discoveries in the area of sharks. I feel like I could be qualified as an expert on the subject with all the shows I've seen, many more than once of course. It is cool when there is a new discovery, like the mega mouth shark or the giant squid footage.
