I am lucky (not happy) that thing headed west, cause I got a non-refundable plane ticket for a fishing trip in two weeks that would have surely been cancelled had it not.

:s my parents cabin is just 3 miles across the bay from chetumal on the belize side of the boarder up by cosejo :S and my 77 240d is also down there TG for our mechanic omar he went out and grabed the car and moved stuff into the tubs and such for us since my mother can't fly down with her broken foot and do it

Do you have any idea what the Gov. of Texas did prior to your declaration in anticipation of the problems that may arise because of Dean(even though I know that cliches and soundbites from moveon.org are more fun)?

Glad you got a picture of it.

Is that road south still like the most rocky, pot-holed 1.5 lane main highway in the world? When I was there in the 1970's we drove from TX to Vera Cruz to Gral Escarcega MX to Belize City. The slowest-gowing was from the border at Belize down to Belize City.

One o fthe densest populations in the western hemisphere is Mexico City, which appears to be in-line with the storm forecast.

Mexico City is built on a prehistoric lake bed between two mountains.
