Thursday night, Brittany Spears was taken to the hospital following a dispute (perhaps, more of a domestic disturbance) involving the custody of her children. The details to which, neither of us should give a ---- about. I know I don’t.

Anyway – Though the Baker Act is prodominently a FL issue (I believe, but could be wrong), I think Hammertime was just wanting our thoughts on the Brittany mess that came up Thursday. From what I’ve seen, I think they have finally given the kids to the dad. And though he is no vision of fine fatherhood in my opinion…he’s capable of being a better parent than she is. So – That’s a good thing.

To some extent, I will agree with you.

Though many Dr’s of psychiatry fit the same mold as many lawyers out there. I feel there are a few that are helpful to others.
Many have made worthwhile contributions to society.

As for those like Brittany…. Little comes to mind.
(Note that I said “worthwhile”. And that my “worthwhile” is perhaps different than others.)

Trust me – I’ve been around far more than my share of “Brittanys”. In comparison - I’d much rather hang out with the Dr.s of psychiatry and/or psychology any day.

And, if anyone were to be tied to a rock and dumped off a pier, I say start with the "worthless clowns and mindfawks" like Brittany.

(Yes - A much easier statement for me to make, following retirement.)

I'd hang with Brittany or even Jeffery Dahlmer (with a pistol in hand) before I hang around a Dr.s of psychiatry and/or psychology. That is unless it is a "necktie party" and they are getting the necktie. Lawyers? See above.

BTW, we blame the lawyer quite often, unfairly. IMO, he is doing his job within the legal system. However, if the 12 clowns on the jury didn't tell him to proceed, you think he will? If previous juries didn't tell him that such a suit will make money, why would he proceed? IMO, if you are a US citizen, the problem lies with the guy in the bathroom mirror.
