I did something like that with a Christmas card that played "Deck the Halls". I powered it with a couple D-cells and placed it up inside the ceiling tiles of a lecture hall. For months afterward you could hear it up there whenever the classroom quieted down for tests and such.

I did the same damn thing while attending Watchmaking School in Woodside.

I found me a tiny old cassette "dictograph"at a thrift shop with a 10 minute continuous loop.
My buddies and I recorded every racial epithet known to man in flawless Midwestern hooplespeak,then placed it atop the drop-ceiling tiles of the men's washroom,damn 9 volt battery lasted a week.

OMG I am going to buy a dozen and hide them all inside someone's office.

My wife collects snowman figurines, I wonder if she'd dig a Snowbot?
