Some time ago, when AOL only had 1.5 million users, people used to come into chat rooms and ask what "LOL" meant. Smarty pants me, would tell them, it meant "Likes Old Ladies". (needless to say, a bunch of LOL's would pop up)

However, LOL is not the first tech acronym that I became familiar with. RTFS, and if that failed, RTFM. How does a router work? well...back then it was HPFM....that is, if it wasn't FUBAR.
