iirc the music at some clubs was so damn loud that you couldn't have a conversation. "Baby, it's too loud here. Let's go back to my place so we can talk"

Paul Van Dyk is arguably the best DJ on earth. You can go out and buy ANY PVD CD and not be dissappointed.

Nice! Now I really want to party!

Okenfold is my favorite DJ, The most fun was at a place called the Cross in Kings Cross. DJ John Kelly was playing and it was possibly the best club night that I have had.

Most of these guys are middle aged but they sure can mix a good tune.

everyone knows Tiesto is!

geez...

Go and support you LOCAL artists. I maybe blessed by living near the birthplace of Techno, but I'm sure theres a lot of good dj's/production crews around you.

And of coarse all your big-name trance DJ mix cd's will be perfect. With protools and acidPRO, I could be just as good. Real Dj's will use a real medium and record it LIVE.

Hattie,
You like clubs? Go get a part time job as a bouncer, doorman, etc. I worked in clubs/bars as a bouncer through college and a good bit afterwards. The pay sucks but the benefits are great. You will meet a ton of women. I figured that since I was going to be in the bars anyway then why not get paid to work there? I had a blast the years I did it. RT
