Urge to go clubbing strong...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FxO3sY1PlQ&feature=related

This music got me in the mood, and its only Monday, damn.

Played it quite last Saturday, this weekend I am in the mood for New Haven.

Crazy loud base, with girls shaking it to the base.

Today I have an urge to don a Mister Rodger's sweater and a fedora, sit on a park bench and fling peanuts at squirrels. My ass is tired.

I think that's what I will do today, except I would have to go up into the mountains to find the squirrels...

Wow! I'm not sure I even remember that far back when I was young enough to go "clubbing"

I used to go clubbing to look at girls, now I go to laugh at all the young guys trying to hit on the girls and getting rejected... Those were the days... I would be in bed and girls would come by the house and wake me up to go out to some joint...

Damn I wish I was that popular, girls coming by to take me out would be awsome!

I just hit on the girls and get rejected most of the time.

Reminds me of when I turned 21....

Mid 80s in Denver. We'd hit Rock Island late, then find an all night eatery for afterward.

It's funny, I saw some "mangas" in Borders bookstore this past weekend and I thought of you two and your penchant for japanimation.
I'll convert ya, don't worry.

I used to watch Speed Racer all the time. That's good classic Japanimation. The movie is due out very soon.

I dusted off a bunch of my old Dance CD's from the 90's so that I can put them on MP3. Some cracking tunes! Funny thing is that you can tune into BBC radio one and listen to the essential mix and the same DJ's from the mid 90's (and even some of the same music) are still playing strong.

The last time I partied hard at a club was about about 4 years ago (i'm 34 now). I think I can still tie one on like I used to, I would just need a week or so to recover as opposed to going out the next day like in the college days.

It's not so much that I was popular, I worked at the hotel the club was in, I knew the DJ and I could get everyone in for free. I also wasn't afraid to dance with the girls and didn't get drunk so I was the DD...

Here's some REAL dance music!

Paul Van Dyk is arguably the best DJ on earth. You can go out and buy ANY PVD CD and not be dissappointed.
