Here's a diesel for you
EMD G12, export version. 567 cu.i. (per cyl), 12 cyl. 2-stroke, roots blower.

At idle, that train is smoooth. It's just a bit louder than my 617 when under load.
 I also like the "superhero" style GM logo.
