A Place For Your Stuff

Earlier this week, Frys had a two day sale on a 1TB (terrabyte) external drive for $140 . . . which got me wondering . . . Has anyone here filled or come close to filling up 1TB of personal computer stuff? Not commercial or business data, but just personal user stuff.

Btw, thanks to G. Carlin.

Desktop or media center?

Media center has 1.5TBs of storage, and its about 90% full.... Its got alot HDTV recorded, and some music.

My desktop has 2TBs of storage.... I have about 900GB of music, 250GB of photos in Raw Format, and about 500GB of movies that I have editied, or needs to be editied.

Everything is indexed, so searching take like 10 seconds.... Its nice.

I have two internal HD's, about 700mb total, and they are both pretty full. I do a lot of filming, like lots of music, and take lots of photos. It all adds up, but then again I've had this computer since 2005, and it's still not full yet.

Hopefully I'll be getting something new for school next year.
