Fresh pumpkin pie
 

Last night I spent a couple of hours cutting up cooking and pureeing a pumpkin. I got enough pulp for six pies.

There is nothing better if you like pumkin pie than making it with your own pumpkin. Yummmmmmm!

I am the pie maker in the family. I like to make pumkin pie with brown sugar, and I add a little cloves.

Although I find about any pumpkin pie with some whoooop cream a tastey treat. I always like to imagine it as almost like having another vegetable in my meal.

I also like to make fruit pies like blueberry and so forth. I mix blueberry and peach together sometimes.

Any fruit pie gets an extra kick if you use brown sugar instead of white.

I like to try and make (not going to happen this year cause I'm broke) pumpkin pie cheesecake and either apple or cranberry apple pie. Yummmy we really are not posting many recipies but just drooling lol

Tom, one of the best fruit pies I've had was made with peaches and plouts/plumicots. They compliment each other perfectly.:cool:
