Slumdog Millionaire

I don't go to movies but managed to see Slumdog Millionaire on a flight last week and was hooked I almost had to turn it off for landing but luckily made it, its been a long time since a movie kept me on the edge of my seat like that. The DVD is being released tomorrow and I'm pretty pumped about it because I want to see it in the home theater plus I want my wife to see it.

The movie is one of the rare ones where wifey can get her lovey dovey stuff while I can get my story, music and enrichment with a cliffhanger.

Yup, loved it. The only movies I have seen this year were SDM and Grand Torino; loved them both.

EDIT -- And SDM has that MIA song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sei-eEjy4g

It was a well done story. The unrelated dance number at the end seemed a little too Bollywood though.

I too thought it was out of place.

I could have done without it, but it was an interesting way to backdrop the credits. I didn't think much of it at the time... it was just ending credits music to me.
