The report says a collapse in Mexico seems less likely, but noted that the government infrastructure is "under sustained assault and pressure" from drug cartels and gangs.

So people will start running over from Mexico? How will we know the difference?

Drug prohibition is destroying a lot of countries, including (to a lesser extent) the US.

That did brighten my day, we just might get our tight border and fence that I have been wanting. Maybe even a good guest worker program so people will stop taking advantage of the Mexicans looking for work.

Hey Hat, do you know your family history ?
Do you know what boat your family came over on ?
All americans are immigrants.
Unless you are a full blooded american indian.

Do you unerstand that most of the southern US was settled by people we now call Mexicans.
That is before we came here and commited genoside and took the land.

This land we live on was theirs !!!
We are the immigrants....

Well Rich since you totaly went off into left field and missed the point of my post...

What the heck I have nothing better to do...I'll explain.

Companies like to hire illegal workers because they can pay them jack ****, and treat them pretty poorly. They are also taken advantage of where they live since they cannot open say a bank account...so they are very often robbed of their hard earned money. Throw in the mess at the boarder, with shootings involving drugs, and people smugling and you have a wonderfull orgy of violence around money and drugs. Lots of Mexicans trying to get north are lead out into the desert and killed.

So if we actualy you know stopped this, and created a good guest worker program to regulate them...they would be able to come to this country to work...keep there money...not fear the law or getting killed...sounds good to me.

I did not miss the point of your post.
I showed you some assumption you had made that were not correct.
We need to have the guest worker programs set up for us.
We are the guests.
Everyone here is a guest.
Everyone that comes to this country is a citizen.
And is governed by the same laws.
That is how this country was founded, and should stay.

The fence between here and mexico is to keep the cheep labor in mexico.
So large companies can continue to enslave them.
We have very few industries left in this country, they have all moved to other countries.

Do you really want your tax dollars spent on a fence that will benifit the large companies that moved from the US to mexico ?

More corporate welfare !!!
Open your eyes and look at what is going on.
I am afraid your buying a line of bull that has been set out for you.

We need more people from other countries coming here to work and pay taxes.
Our country is falling apart.
