I know that my radio (aircraft VHF/UHF/FM/etc) voice and my normal speaking voice sound totally different. Like they aren't even from the same person.
I have no idea why.
I do know that I don't care much for either... Oh well.

The reverb is funny... It's like a voice in your head! :)

Occasionally I work as a voice over actor, I never used to like my voice that much but now that I hear it back in a professional matter I can "see" it's not that bad. People pay me money for my voice, what's pretty cool.

Reading stuff for ads, what a great way to make money!

My dad used to be a terrible mumbler around the house. Half the time I had no ideaq what he was saying. Whenever he'd answer the phone or I'd hear him at work, I couldn't believe it was the same person!

Many women at work have commented I sound sexy over the phone, seriously. I spend much of my day on the phone and it often works to an advantage.

I dont like the way I sound after ten beers or a big salad.

My radio (flying voice) is much better than my speaking voice unless I have sinus problems and then it gets pretty deep and sounds better or so I have been told.
