Gravity Inversion Boots
I suffer from low back pain (SI joint dysfunction) and am considering buying gravity inversion boots and a bar to hang from. Anyone have any experience with these?
![]() Not cheap at $149 from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/EZ-Up-Inversion-Rack-Gravity-Boots/dp/B0012TLU02/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods&qid=1235512165&sr=8-3 I've done physical therapy, chiropractic, meds and a cortisone shot but I am still experiencing low back pain and am almost always very stiff. I feel, intuitively, that the decompression will help reverse the effects of many years of long distance running. (I am not concerned about injuring myself by falling on my head while using them.) I do a series of 8 back stretching and strengthening exercises nearly every day. I lift weights 2 or 3 times a week and run 3 times a week for a total of 20 to 25 miles. I see this subject has been discussed, tongue in cheek style, on this forum previously. Who remembers . . .
