Its bad to repress, not only the so called conservatives, most overtly repressive Islamic countries suffer the same issue. They are the biggest consumers of porn and underground porn, white slavery etc. flourishes in that region. Invariably the males there are quite predatory because of the same repression. I guess the pagan ancient Indians had it right by depicting their Gods and Godesses in various positions from the ancient sex manual Kama Sutra. It was a open society where women roamed around freely with the skimpiest but that didn't mean they were promiscuous or it was free for all, it was just that they knew how to enjoy. How I wish I could get a time machine to be there.

The world would be a much better place if Jews, Christian and Muslims had figured out a 1000 yrs ago that sex can be a road to salvation.
I remember reading some years ago about a fundamentalist religious convention at a large hotel and the huge increase in pay per view porn while they were there.

One great philosopher from India in the last century, Swami Vivekananda had said in his teaching that for one person to renounce or condemn something, he or she has to fully experience it first. Only then can that person have his own individual perspective. Its ironic that people in today's individualistic society people like to be led like sheep putting blind faith on someone else's idea of what is right and wrong. We all have our differences of interpretation but in general, the less the repression, the less the trouble, thats my general experience.
