Flying Car Successful Test Fllight
|
Is that going to be your next aquisition, Mistress?

I used to manage a condo complex and one of the condo owners had a flying car from the 1960's. It was shaped kind of like a VW bug. Wings folded back. It worked and he would take it around to shows. He also had a Wankel engined motorcycle (Suzuki?).

I remember a car that turned into a boat from the sixties, but didn't know anyone had actually made a working car/airplane back then. A car that turns into a helicopter sounds like a more useful invention. Around here, you'd be hard-pressed to find enough clear roadway to get airborne in a plane!

Cool!
There are a few very cool personal VTOL crafts in development. Here's one: http://www.skywalkervtol.com/ |

I seem to recall a car/plane from the '70's that was based on the Ford Pinto.
