As far as I can tell you must be refering to Mercedes pre 1920.

As you point out above, superior grand touring capabilities are a Mercedes hallmark. I hardly think the driving activities in the video qualify. You can hardly compare drifting with the driving of Stirling Moss. Mercedes are (at least they used to be) purposeful vehicles. They weren't designed for pointless activities.

When I had the Jaguar XJ8, every time I reached for the TRAC OFF button to do a burnout, I thought about how much two new tires would cost.

Growing up is no fun.

Drift racing(in a sanctioned event) is pretty difficult and requires a very high level of skill and understanding the cars limits
