Weekend Racing Tornados.......
We have some friends who own some NASCAR & ARCA trucks & cars and a driving experience school and a race track near Charlotte. So occasionally they get us pit and garage passes for major & minor races. (I know I'm lucky)
This weekend it was Kansas speedway; got to see IRL qualifying... starring Danica Patrick, Scott dixon, Tony Kanaan and a bunch of other "famous drivers" I don't know. (Danica is tiny) and the Orielly 250 truck race; our friends had a couple of "trucks" racing with some rookie drivers. We left when it started raining and Tornadoing.  The Tornado was heading right for the track when it lifted;... what are the chances of a tornado hitting a major arena event?.... I tell you; These places are just not really prepared for a natural catastrophe like this.
