The Party Never Ends! Yet Another Mid Atlantic GTG!
 

Once again, I wanted to thank all of you who attended my recent GTG. I spend a lot of time on the road and one of the places I visit is Chambersburg, PA, about 30 miles West of Gettysburg. There is a great restaurant/bar called Relax that I probably spend way to much time at. Anyway the manager of Relax is very interested in hosting a GTG. They have plenty of parking and he said he will provide drink and food specials for the participants and fence off parking for our cars. The dates available are June 14 or 21. They are pretty excited about having us there and I would like to see if we could have a show of hands of who may be interested. For those of you who would like to stay the night, I could also get some special rates at the Holiday Inn Express which is about a mile down the road. Thanks, and please let me know.

Chambersburg is not too far for a day trip. Depending on stuff outside my control, I will raise my hand...tentatively.

Is the pacemaker simply a precaution? My wife has had one for about 2 years, and she has it read periodically. It has never fired--that is a good thing.

Not a bad idea. I just may do that. Anyway, all dates in June are open. Vote for the one you want and I'll make it happen.

Fathers Day may be a bad choice for me, as I expect at least one of my sons to do something for his ole Dad on that day.

Oh, come on, Bodhi! Take a day or two off. You'll be glad you did. You'll meet some of the best people you'll ever run across ("across" not over) at this event. How could you pass up such a colorful bunch of folks?!

I'll go....um Chad someone said you were giving away free computers to the first 10 people is this true?

You guys are hilarious.:D I wouldn't give those computers to anyone. They were about half the size of a normal laptop. I think it would be difficult to type with and see the text on the small monitor.

I'm feeling better, but not 100%. Let's do it at the Relax June 6. It's a great place and they are excited about having us although I wish we had some better feedback about attendance. Those of you that want to roll in June 5, please let me know and I'll arrange a room at a discounted rate for you at the Holiday Inn Express. I'll post the agenda this weekend. I'm going to stay on for work after that, so I'll be driving the Ferrari and the wife will drive the Cabrio.

Damn, I'll be in Bahrain... Grrrrrrr

As close as this event is, I really wanted to make it, but the never-ending rain has thrown the schedule on my little addition into chaos. I need to use the time to finish some outside work before my neighbors lynch me.
