I'm sorry if you can't afford the real thing then don't try to make it look like you can
The silly oversized wheels on an off-roader simply adds to this failure.

Wow. That is interesting.

I can't believe that's an almost perfect fit. My buddy has one, it's amazing what go's wrong with those cars: the latest I heard from him was that the front passenger door would not open anymore...

Sounds like he has had one of the more problem free ones! ;)

tell your friend if it stops leaking it's empty

Well since they did not update the body AT ALL in 10 years, just changed the easy bits, I have no problem with this except that I like the older look better.
Now if he had taken the front end off a RR and grafted it onto say an Explorer, I would have puked:D

at 193k that truck is done anyway...I am surprised it lasted that long

So that means don't put 2nd gen cladding on your 1st gen W126 and don't put 15 inch rims from an 1989 R107 on your 1973 R107.

Hatterasguy 07-03-2009 02:08 PM

Ghetto car, but its amazing how well the body parts fit. I guess they didn't change much.

Nope thats fine. Whats going on here would be akin to welding a W140 nose to a W126....wait a second that reminds me of something.....
