The silly oversized wheels on an off-roader simply adds to this failure.

I can't believe that's an almost perfect fit. My buddy has one, it's amazing what go's wrong with those cars: the latest I heard from him was that the front passenger door would not open anymore...

Well since they did not update the body AT ALL in 10 years, just changed the easy bits, I have no problem with this except that I like the older look better.
Now if he had taken the front end off a RR and grafted it onto say an Explorer, I would have puked

at 193k that truck is done anyway...I am surprised it lasted that long

Nope thats fine. Whats going on here would be akin to welding a W140 nose to a W126....wait a second that reminds me of something.....
