That is pretty cool. I know one of the growers we buy wetlands and conservation grasses from has been playing around with millet and switchgrass production for fuels.

If an alternative airline fuel can be found, it would have a massive impact across the economy.

I think the solution here is going to be algae based bio-diesel. There have already been some tests done using bio in jets. The next step is perfecting large scale production from algae.

Yea, I've seen and/or heard of a number of promising "alternative" fuels. Haven't seen any come even close to commercial, even limited, production.

Except Ethanol, which except as it's use as a gas additive, was never another but more proof we have a first class government
