Watching Leno Tonight?

Due to time zones, we're the last to see the premier with Seinfeld.

Apparently, NBC ponied up the dough to build a "race track" next to the studio for "green" car racing. So a bit of a "Top Gear" segment stolen, but will there be a tame race car driver . . .

If this show makes it more than a month, it will be a surprise. Last night was a disaster.

Leno's gonna have to step it up a bit; I was expecting something Tonight Show-ish but with his personal touch on it, and it was pretty much just the Tonight Show at a new time. I hope he gets more creative with his opportunity.

And being a car guy, I love Leno.

From initial impressions I guess I'm glad I stayed with MNF.

I like Leno, hopefully he settles into his comfort zone and the show improves. I usually watch the 10:00 news but I'd watch Leno if it was worthwhile.

I didn't watch the show because I really don't find Leno that funny. Letterman was always my favorite but I really like Conan. He is absolutely crazy. Definitely a different kind of humor...my kind of humor.

Leno missed the big opportunity. His first Tonight Show he had Hugh Grant on, right after the Divine Brown incident (he was dating Elizabeth Hurley.) Leno says, so for the first question, what the hell were you thinking?

Had a prime opportunity to bring the house down when Kanye sat on the couch first thing. All he had to do was say the same thing, OK for the first question, what the hell were you thinking?

Instead we got this sappy fake "what would your mother say" bull****. Even Seinfeld was flat. Really lame show. And I like Leno.

I dunno. Leno needs to lose the 2 easy chairs setup, he looked awkward with his legs crossed.

But he's a survivor, although I'd like to see him back at 11:35. Conan has his moments but he's no Leno.

actually, my only thought about that was "why is the POTUS lowering himself into commenting on pop culture and what some cognac addled rapper has to say and do?"

also: wow, Kanye, night one & Michael Moore, night two....rolling downhill quickly.....
