blue moon this month?

I was outside tonight and saw the moon was nearly full on the 1st. I think if there are 2 full moons in 1 month it is called a "blue moon"... do we get one this month?

The full moon isn't until the 4th. No blue moon this month.

Nope. This months full moon is the 4th. November 2nd is the next full moon. BUT...it looks like December will indeed have a 'Blue Moon' with the first full moon on December 2nd and a full moon again on New Years Eve.

I think we should have a Blue Moon party. Does the moon indeed appear to be blue?
