Whats wrong with this climate control display

I saw this on fleabay and could not beleive it. Something must be wrong. I do not think the newer MB A/C that good. I think that is supposed to be 72 and the - is burnt out.

If that is not a setting but a temperature reading, it would be a sign of a temp probe gone bad.
