So what did everyone do for Halloween ?

I sat on the front porch and gave out 200 Three Musketeers and Nestle's Crunch candy bars. When the pot was empty, I went inside.

Am amazed at the change in the neighborhood demographic, and the increased number of kids who say " Thank you and have a happy Halloween too."

But it was all for the better. Encouraging.

I ended up watching TV. It was pouring last night in the neighborhood.

went back to my hometown to hand out candy with my family. my father has come back into the picture because both of my sisters had babies this year, and he's been an awesome grandpa. it was the first halloween for both my niece and nephew. it was great, been a long time since my whole family has been hanging out together.

and, it was the first halloween since my wife and i have relaxed our veganism. first time in over eight years since i've had a snickers, a twix, a reeses cup, a crackle, a mr. goodbar, and a kit kat! mixed with cheap beer, it was heavenly!

doesn't feel so good this morning though.....

For some reason, and I have a slight suspicion it MIGHT have been the Babe's costume, the kids didn't come back around for a second helping!

So what did everyone do for Halloween ?-halloween-004a.jpg

not milk chocolate, or candy with whey in it, or buttermilk solids. and technically, refined sugar isn't vegan either.

it's pretty lame when i think about it...

Nothing, I can't go to any party's since my foot is still broke. To hard to get around. I wanted to go to Toads place for PLR's costume contest which is usualy a blast. I'll have to wait until next year. My friend almost won it last year, and I got to dance on stage with this freaken hot cat girl.

We live on top of a hill so we get very few trick or treators, my mom just got three candy bars for the neighbors kids and that was it.

I was stuck in a hotel, apparently my wife and younger daughter stayed home, watched movies, and gave out candy. My older daughter was at some club all night (as usual).

A few friends of my girlfriend celebrated their 21st birthday, and we tagged along. I got quite a few trick or treaters at my house up until I left. Made me feel old...
