Joe,
Maybe he has an extra 0 in the starting bid price! Who knows? It's fun to see people trying to sell items which they are infatuated with. This may be the nicest car this guy has ever seen and he can't see why anybody else wouldn't think the same. Either way, it's fun to watch when the expectations are this way out of line. He might find an extremely wealthy pigeon to take it off his hands. Nothing would surprise me. someguyfromMaryland |

No way it is going to sell at that price. Its only worth about a quarter of that, at the most. It is either a mistake or the guy is out of touch with reality.

He has certainly over-valued his platinum plugs.

Even if the car scored 95 or more out of 100, which is too rare for a car with 100,000 miles, it would only be worth 8K at the most. It seems that the seller might as well keep this car if he thinks its worth that much.

This Has To Be A Joke...
$18,000.00?
No way in hell could that car be worth that to anyone other than a real sucker. And for those of you that guessed $8,000 (JeepBoy) or even $4,500, you need to check your values more carefully. Here's what Kelley Blue Book shows for a value on that model car with that mileage in EXCELLENT shape: Private Party Sale - $2225.00 Full Retail - $2850.00 According to the auction details, the car did not meet the seller's reserve, but there was a bidder at the opening price of $18,000.00. I can't elieve that the numbers are right. There must be that extra 0 added and the decimal place off by one digit... $1,800.00 is a good deal.
