And Acorn is dead.

Whose motto was "the ends justify the means".

Well, thank God for the coffee party to fill their shoes! We still have an organization full of deadbeats, murderers, rapists, and illegal aliens demanding handouts with federal and media support. And I'm sure you were a little worried at first. No, no everything's fine.

Whew. Thank God. I was wondering if the Democrats were going to have to get elected fairly. Maybe Acorn's dropping out because they see the blood of November.

As opposed to Wall Street, big banks, insurance companies, multinational corporations, and arms manufacturers clamoring for tax dollars.

No, they're bad too. And they support the Coffee Party. (See: George Soros for starters)
And all that:

I believe you are 100% right. It is like the Alien in the movie of the same name, except it will morph into something else.

We're coming back, under a name and new organizational structure. We've replaced a few of the more prominent members with less-controversial figureheads who will take orders and filed the appropriate documentation with the IRS to become a new 501c(3) organization. Buckle your seatbelts, boys. Now that we've defeated you on healthcare, immigration is next. Say hello to your new next door neighbors, the Gonzales family...

Ay caramba!

The right wing resentment against ACORN is understandable, given the fact that they were immensely successful in organizing poor people into big voting blocks. I have yet to see one successful prosecution or even an indictment that ACORN committed any kind of voter fraud. The real fraud has been the absolutley obsessed right wingers claim that there was. Any voter registration marked in error, any registration filled out by a crooked employee who was attempting to defraud ACORN itself was screamed about by right wingers as somehow "voter fraud", yet they have to this day failed to show any organized effort on the ACORN organization's behalf to defraud or change the results of any election. Not one. And I challenge those above to do the same.

In the end, the reason ACORN is folding is because of simple bad management. It failed to supervise it's employees properly, and like any business that does so, it failed because of it. But hey, don't worry guys, they were staffed by hundreds of thousands of dedicated people as well, people who want to see that those in our society, those who are powerless in the face of advantage the massive billions of dollars spent by America's increaingly fringe right wing, get a voice too, where it counts, at the ballot box. Soon you will see a better managed organization dedicated to the same thing, and doing the same thing, registering and organizing those who have nothing so that men like Barak Obama can be elected. Perhaps it can also better withstand the lies and dis-information spread by America's right wing. The Health Care bill just did, if I were you guys, I'd be worried, Goebbels-style disinformation campaigns, where a lie is shouted until it becomes some sort of truth to those who shout it, are being increasingly rejected by the public. If you don't believe that, just ask you local Death Panel.

This is an excerpt from a song in a 50-year old movie which was based on an even older Broadway musical. The lyrics have aged rather well, don't you think?

I like to be in America
Okay by me in America
Everything free in America
For a small fee in America

Buying on credit is so nice
One look at us and they charge twice

I have my own washing machine
What will you have though to keep clean?

Skyscrapers bloom in America
Cadillacs zoom in America
Industry boom in America
Twelve in a room in America

Lots of new housing with more space
Lots of doors slaming in our face

I'll get a terrace apartment
Better get rid of your accent

Life can be bright in America
If you can fight in America
Life is all right in America
If you're all white in America

Here you are free and you have pride
Long as you stay on your own side

Free to be anything you choose
Free to wait tables and shine shoes

Everywhere grime in America
Organized crime in America
Terrible time in America
You forget I'm in America

I think I'll go back to San Juan
I know a boat you can get on

Everyone there will give big cheer!
Everyone there will have moved here...

Perhaps you can possibly, out of 65 million votes, give us a report on how many were fraudently cast?

Seriously? Your idea of making a point is to ask a question that can't be answered? How about a flip-around, then.

How many of those 65m votes were actually good?

That's nothing. Wait until your new neighbor is Abu Mohammad and he fires up the Koranic loudspeakers at 5:00 a.m. like they do in the city next door.

I'm ready though, I made copies of all my old Steppenwolf tapes, we'll wear 'em out....
