Looking for a junk yard Oldsmobile
I know a lot of you are in and out of wrecking yards. A friend is trying to restore a 1967 Oldsmobile 98 and needs a few parts. Actually, more than a few.
If you run across one anywhere in the US they are interested. A 1967 Olds 88 would also be OK. Just send me a PM or post it here. Thanks! |

Right now they are looking for fender skirts, the trunk lid and the seats.
The tough parts to get are the body parts since the fender skirts rust out and the trunk lid is unique to the two-door body style. The seats are not that hard to get since they were used in a lot of big body Olds of that time. They are called 'Stratoseats', one long bench with a fold down arm rest and a reclining passanger seat. I think it would be easier to restore a 1967 Mercedes than this car, but that's just me. Thanks for the suggestions. I will pass them all on. And if you ever see one then shoot me a location. Thanks! |
