Oh I know... You can get a nicely restored turn key roamer for under $50,000. Maybe some day, but I'd have to be rolling in it to justify throwing away that much money when I could buy a nice sports car to use year round.

IMHO boats are more fun than cars. Cars your stuck on the road, with a boat you can sail over the horizen to just about anywhere.


Buying its still the cheap part, where I live keeping a boat like that will cost you $10k a year before you turn the key. Dockage is $110 a foot, winter storage is about $70. Than throw in insurance and property taxes... Than you have to maintain it at a basic level, thats a few grand.
