I HATE losers....
****ing people pi$$ me the **** off
Got a text a little while ago.....Some ********* smashed the window on my friends 'new' 280CE and stole the radio :mad::mad::mad::mad: Get a fricken life you loser! A police report was filed but honestly what are the chances of finding it....and the person who did it (It's an aftermarket unit that isn't even worth that much.) Even worse they took one of the painted hubcaps...thats going to be fun finding a replacement for..... |
Sux.
Someone tore up my center stack in a no longer owned 300D, freakin' broke a number of items to grab an aftermarket unit. The cd player didn't even work. Bastards! |
That sucks man, I hate that too. I wonder how many of those CD players are duds (like they have codes that disable and stuff) and how many are cheap vs. how many are worth any amount of money at all. They could always just work an hour and get at least $8 of legitimate money....

When I owned an MGB, I used to leave the top down so that theives wouldn't have to cut the top to get inside . . . besides, they could see for themselves that all I had was a cheesy AM/FM radio. However, one day I found that my rubber floor mats from MG Motors had been pinched. Not a lot of money, but it was disturbing to think that another MGB owner was the culprit, since they are pretty specific to the car.

These are "victim-less" crimes according to the police. They figure as long as nobody gets hurt, insurance will make it all good again. Law enforcement is obviously no deterrent for these scum because the consequences for their crimes are next to zero.

Been there. Someone broke my passenger side window to steal a ...$20 mp3 player.

( as long as you haven't been a winner in the past 30 days. ):D |
parked the GTO convertible on the street ONCE. Some @ss Slit the top to get the non-working Jensen radio out of the dash.
At least they did not F -up the dash getting it out. My old GF had her, get this, Ford Maverick broken into at UNC! The @ss ripped up the dash getting the CHEAP cassette player out then left her a note *****ing about how much work it was to get the radio out of the car! Brother and sister in law parked their new Jetta by the GWB in New York. The took everything out of the car except his ratty pair of B-Ball shoes. Yep the broke in for those! Realized how beat up they were then caused $3800 in damages to the interior of the car. Every needle was pulled from every gauge, seats were ripped up, headliner ripped, window switches broken, etc! If your friend has time he should walk around the neighborhood. I bet he finds some crackhead with his radio on a blanket selling it for $5! Find the dude and give him a beat-down! I am not saying my coworkers and I did this when the GTO was molested, but somebody learned a lesson... |
I have been meaning to get a vibration and/or pressure sensor alarm for my 300E, as soon as I get some money. This is good reason to get it.

I had stuff ripped off by a couple of losers going "car shopping", as they call it. No real interest there. I had to tell the cops the number they called. Still no action. At which point, I had to call it and talked to the person there and found out it was the father. I talked to him to see if he wanted to work something out. He denied it and said it was a wrong call. Told him that he chatted for a long while at midnight for a wrong number but still no go. Had to give them the address before they dragged they fat, lazy hind ends there after I reversed looked up the number. I also had someone almost run into my car because he ran a red flashing light. Cop saw it and I saw him. Why didn't he say anything? He was sitting dry in his car under the shade and didn't want to mess up his hair or shoes. I haven't found much of a use for beat cops except maybe to write the report up so I can claim insurance. Since most of my experience with them has been with their attitudes, I don't need them or want them. |
Man getting a new piece of glass in place isn't going to be fun......
http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/83243-removing-back-panels-300cd.html I'm guessing it's damn tight back there and it's a manual regulator which is probably going to make getting that panel out even harder....i'm doing a search but not coming up with much on how to do it. Anyone have any good links for this job? |
Yesterday, there was a beat up Ford Explorer with missing hubcaps with a latino (not to be racist, just stating a fact) driving behind me. His windshield was showing an obviously hijacked inspection sticker (half of the sticker was not there). This is interesting because NC no longer uses stickers for inspections.
He was driving and tailgating aggressively so I just got out of his way. No need to test if my unisured motorist insurance works. |
