Back in the dark ages when I was dating my wife, I often would spend Sat. nite at her house. Her mom made me sleep on couch, of course. Once her aunt and uncle from New Jersey were visiting for a week or so. Sunday morning her uncle comes down to the kitchen, looks at me and says, "You ready for a beer?" I of course said yes and decided right then I liked New Jersey folks! Our Sunday morning was spent at kitchen table with beer (and he had brought some of his favorite brew from his hometown).
They were good people and on our first anniversary, we made a road trip to visit several family members in NY, NJ and PA. We stayed with her aunt and uncle and had a great time including beer in the morning. (we also collapsed the bed in their guest room, but that is another story.)
I don't drink anymore, but I do approve of morning drinking! (fair disclaimer: I did have mimosa at Easter breakfast as my son insisted. It didn't sit well on my gut as he used cheap champagne-thought I taught him better-hmmph!)
