What are your plans for the 4th of July?

We are having a cookout with the kids and the grand babies. :D:D:D:D

My "other" diesel group has their annual rally over the 4th. Its supposed to be an East Coast event, but over the last 10 years we've been in western PA, Bowling Green,KY, even Michigan!. This year we are just above Harrisburg, PA. We should have about 30 trucks show up.
Its restricted to Ford/international IDI engines; not the power strokes. It takes an internet forum to keep them running, and running well. Some guys are SERIOUS--with one guy actually selling a custom calibrated IP and super duty injectors for those looking for max power.

You all have a safe 4th.

Flying out of Singapores Changi airprt tommorrow, on China airways flight to ****et, Thailand.
Where I will bask in the sun on the beach, and recieve as many massages as I desire.
Once a man has been given a Traditional Thai massage..he can become hooked.

The first one I recieved in ChaingMai, Thailand actually hurt me. I had no idea that a woman who only weighs 102 pounds could be so strong.
If they really know what they are doing IE: walk on your back-cut off blood circulation to your lower extremitys-crack your neck-twist your rib cage- you will come away from the session feeling invigorated.

Not to mention a very soft ,gentle voice that whispers in your ear like a butter-fly..."I do it good for you"

;)

My wife and kids are in Japan for a month visiting her family.

I'll be home with the dog "Peewee" watching tv.

There is a town in Oklahoma called Cleveland that has a 5th of July fireworks display. They have a deal with some fireworks company that they can shoot off all of their duds from the shows the company put on the night before.

It is very impressive and worth the trip if you live close enough. The fireworks go off over Lake Keystone just south of the town of Cleveland at the Corp Park.

It's the wife's birthday. She demands fireworks, so we will go to a local park and be surrounded by screaming urchins running hither and yon, and by bubbas wearing flag t shirts and their fat wimmin' and undoubtedly subjected to speeches by tea party wannabes while paying too much for bad beer and hotdogs that have been boiled beyond recognition. God bless the USA. The best part of July 4th is July 5th.

We are having a gtg for friends at our place. Pool will be open and a brisket will be on tbe smoker and some dogs/burgers on the BBQ. Should be a good day.

We start off the day with a morning trip to a salvage yard where we bring out the hardware. Shootin' irons that is. Spend the morning putting holes in cars destined for the crusher and trying out each other's guns. Eye and ear protection required.
Then in the afternoon cookout with evening fireworks on the property. I'm hoping for a nice easy rain the night before so the area is not to dry to be safe. If all goes well, I'll have an even bigger redneck waterslide going this year.

Most likely enjoying some of PowerPig's fine barbecue and then watching the fabulous Washington, DC fireworks extravaganza.
