Buying a spy car, conspiracy theory become fact

Validating your conspiracy theory.
Car companies are tracking you at all times, and selling the information...
You are NOT paranoid if it is fact.

Like the spy movies do, is there a way to send a burst of current and burn out the information when you don't want it collected and used against you? IOW, can I rig a capacitor to send a surge of energy to the data chips and fry them?

I'm sure there could be, heck, a Swiss Army Knife can do that...

Secure knife

Article about cool knife

But I doubt the manufacturers would install it. You'd have to do that yourself.

If you're paranoid about this you should be more worried about that electronic device in your pocket.

Before I retired the oil company I was with installed a 'service' like this on several company trucks. It was explained to the drivers that it would track their every move and record detailed info on where they were and how much time they spent there. The reason for this was to find out which sites were requiring more time to service so the site could be studied. The overall goal was to find ways to cut service time.

About one third of a pipeline gaugers day is spent killing time with landowners and other companies' pipeline workers. They may look like they are drinking coffee, but they are really exchanging information that has saved lives more than once. The management of the companies understand this and expect it.

But one of the VP's started using a company truck to 'tour sites' and he thought the transmitter for this was at the sites. When he found out it was in the truck, and that it was reporting when he stopped off at a remote 'Gentlemen's Club' and how long he was there, the service was discontinued.

The funny part about it was that it was the same VP that had insisted on installing the 'trackers' which was what he called them.

Actually, Onstar snapped that picture of Botnst and shared it with me because I am a member of "The One World Government Conspiracy".

Some people here in Korntucky pronounce it that way, and when I correct them, they look at me like I'm stupid.

Sounds human to me. As long as it tracks others and not show my misdeeds, I'm good. When it can be turned against me, it;s bad

Could it be because of other reasons?

Somebody said it on another thread. Seems like it ought to apply here too. If you have nothing to hide why do you care?
